The live-action One Piece series from Netflix is currently in the process of hiring new actors and actresses for the cast to portray familiar characters from the manga source material by Eiichiro Oda. So far, we’ve gotten a handful of announcements of actors joining the show alongside the Straw Hat Pirates and established cast from the first season. Here’s all the new cast members announced so far for season 2.
Netflix previously confirmed that the second season of One Piece will cover a good portion of the Straw Hat’s initial journey on the Grand Line. The story arcs that will be adapted for season 2 will be Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden and Drum Island. The Arabasta arc, which is quite a lengthy arc in the manga, will likely be adapted for the entirety of season 3, though that’s just speculation on our part.
As for the new cast joining season 2 of One Piece, here’s the full list of confirmed actors so far:

- Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy) as Dr. Kureha
- Mark Harelik (Jurassic Park III) as Dr. Hiriluk
- Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes) as Nefertari Cobra
It’s rumoured that Joe Manganiello (Magic Mike, Justice League) will be joining the cast of One Piece season 2 as one of the show’s villains, Crocodile, though this hasn’t been confirmed by Netflix yet. Manganiello will be attending Comic Con Africa this year as one of its international guest stars.
Netflix has yet to announce the cast of several key characters including Nico Robin Portgas D. Ace, though we should expect those announcements to happen very soon.
