Netflix has just dropped the first trailer for the upcoming Pokemon Concierge stop-motion series and it is unlike anything we have seen from the Pokemon franchise to date. The streaming service says all episodes of the show will debut on 28 December on Netflix as it stars Haru, a young Pokemon Concierge who works at a resort looking after Pokemon (not your typical White Lotus sequel).
According to the Pokemon Concierge trailer, Haru has recently left her job where she was very unhappy. As a result, she moves to the island to find herself. She instead finds a Pokemon resort run by a range of familiar creatures. There’s Snorlax, Dedenne, Pikachu, Mudkip, Balbasaur and more.

The trailer gives us a good look at some of the things Haru gets up to with these Pokemon. She seemingly has a strong friendship with Psyduck, a Pokemon who has been present in all the Pokemon Concierge marketing to date.
The big takeaway from the Pokemon Concierge trailer must be its unique look. The stop-motion animation looks adorable. The Pokemon also features a sort of toy-like design with fur and plastic doll-like body parts. It is definitely going to be quite a joy to watch.
