Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for its upcoming MCU film, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Unlike the first teaser trailer which just gave us bare story details, this one goes all in on showing Kang the Conqueror as the central villain of the story. Scott Lang will have more than just the Quantum Realm to contend with as Kang poses a threat to the multiverse at large.
The trailer starts off with Scott and friends finding themselves drawn into the multiverse and caught up in Kang’s plot. For those that are unaware, Kang was first officially introduced into the MCU through the Disney+ television series, Loki. According to the comics, Kang is quite an intimidating foe as his conquests across time and the multiverse made him and his various incarnations all extremely powerful beings. The trailer also offers a first glimpse at MODOK.

The official plot description provided by Marvel Studios reads:
“In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang.”
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania releases exclusively in cinemas on 17 February 2023. Check out the new trailer below.
