Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon From Software Soulsborne

New Armored Core VI Trailer Could Arrive Next Week – Report

A new trailer for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, the next game from Elden Ring developer From Software, could arrive next week. According to a new leak, a trailer drop is being teased for 28 April which is next Friday. The action game was first unveiled at The Game Awards last year, marking a long-awaited return for the mech franchise. A release date has not been announced yet but that could change soon.

A Chinese leaker recently uploaded a meme to the a9vg forum teasing a new trailer or some kind of new information for Armored Core VI expected to arrive next week. The leaker in question is apparently very well-known in the community for their accurate leaks and has been vouched for by reliable media outlet Gematsu. That said, they often use unconventional methods of leaking information. This time, they’ve used an image of Armored Core V: Verdict Day with the font of 428: Shibuya Scramble, seemingly teasing the 4/28 date for an Armored Core VI trailer.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is the next game by acclaimed developer From Software and the sixth mainline entry in the long-running Armored Core mech-action franchise. Despite being known for pioneering the Soulslike genre, From Software confirmed that Armored Core VI would not use any Soulslike elements and instead, will lean into the franchise’s more fast-paced action with fully customisable mechs.

A previous report from March this year claimed that Armored Core VI will release before Elden Ring‘s upcoming expansion Shadow of the Erdtree and won’t cost $70 at launch. A release window of September or October was also teased. If a new trailer drops next week, it could come with a concrete release date but we’ll have to wait and see if the leak turns out to be true, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is currently in development for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
