Game Science Studio released a new gameplay trailer for Black Myth: Wukong, the gorgeous RPG which fans have been going on about since its initial reveal last year. There’s a good reason why fans are obsessed with it. It features some impressive fights, gorgeous vistas and some rather remarkable animations and visuals. It looks unlike anything we have ever seen in a video game before. Thankfully, we now have another 3 minutes of gameplay to enjoy.
EA To Decide The Fate of Anthem This Week
The new trailer is a flashy one with lots of combat, massive enemies, beautiful environments and even hints to some of the parkour players might expect in the game. We also get a closer look at some of the spells Wukong has at his disposal. Wukong can transform his upper body into a rock-like skull which is used to delfect incoming arrows. He can also freeze enemies in place and deal fatal blows to their frozen body. Lastly, he can transform into lightning creatures and deal damage from above.
By the look of things, the trailer is set in a desert-like area as much of the gameplay reveals ruins, sandy wastelands and even enemies that look as if they belong in the sun-damaged landscapes. Keep in mind that Game Science Studio is still in very early development with Black Myth: Wukong. The studio released the trailer to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Ox and says that the trailer does no represent the actual plot. The studio also claims that they are currenty hiring team members as they progress through the development of Black Myth: Wukong.
The overall game visuals, design and plot can change before its expected release in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Take a look at the trailer down below:
