New Borderlands 3 Ads Make Fun of Famous Brands

Borderlands 3 is just under two weeks away and Gearbox Software is ramping up its marketing campaign for the upcoming shooter. During its PAX West in Seattle, the developer showcased a set of brand new Borderlands 3 ads that we could not help but chuckle at.

The new ads make fun of three sets of cliche modern-day ad campaigns that remind us of a Coca-Cola advert, Pantene hair shampoo and something you will see Woolworth doing for their latest summer clothing collection.

While the ads are quite short and the idea behind them is “what if we added mayhem”? Gearbox threw some Psychos into the mix and things went south before playing “At Last” by Etta James.

The adverts suit the madness found in in the game perfectly and just make for some creative ways to market the upcoming shooter. Hopefully, we will see these airing on local TV. We doubt it but it would still be cool. Check out the news ads from Gearbox Software below;
