New Borderlands Collection Leaked South African Ratings Board FPB

New Borderlands Collection Leaked by South African Ratings Board

The South African Film and Publication Board has leaked the existence of a new Borderlands collection of games as well as an unannounced new LEGO game and a PC version of Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster. The ratings board mentioned The Borderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Box, a new bundle of Borderlands games that potentially compiles all three mainline games in the series.

As spotted by Gematsu, South Africa’s FPB leaked some interesting new, unannounced titles including a new collection of Borderlands games, which was seemingly rated in April 2023. The leaked list also mentions Bandai Namco’s Origination, which a trademark was filed for back in November 2021. Additionally, a new LEGO game titled LEGO 2K Goooal! is also listed after previously being leaked as well.

The Borderlands series already has a compilation of sorts with The Handsome Collection, which bundles both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel including all DLC. The first Borderlands game was remastered but was never featured in any collection yet along with the last release in the franchise, Borderlands 3. The Pandora’s Box collection could collect every mainline game plus the Pre-Sequel, though details are still unknown about the content so it’s just speculation on our part.

Meanwhile, LEGO 2K Goooal! seems to be a new football game themed around LEGO. It was already rated in South Korea last month but now the FPB has all but confirmed that it’s coming soon.

Unfortunately, this leak comes ahead of any official announcement made by the developers or publishers apart from Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster, though it was not known if the remaster would receive a PC port until now.

Either way, it looks like Borderlands fans can rest easy knowing that there’s another compilation heading our way sometime soon and hopefully it’s the definitive package for every game released so far. We’ll keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available.
