New Capcom Game in the Works with DMC 5 Director at the Helm

Devil May Cry 5 only released a month ago but it’s director, Hideaki Itsuno, isn’t sitting on his hands. Instead, he is already working on a new Capcom game. DMC 5 is an awesome title, to say the least, as Marco gave it an 8.5 / 10 score in his review. Hideaki Itsuno nailed it in so many aspects that his new Capcom game should get everyone excited.

We don’t know what this new Capcom game will be and outside of the development team and the publisher, I don’t think anyone does. However, we do know that Hideaki Itsuno is working on a new Capcom game, as is clear by his tweet which you can view below.

Looking at his previous projects, it could very well be a Dragons Dogma 2, or a third instalment in the Power Stone franchise, or a new Rival Schools game. The latter one was mentioned by Hideaki Itsuno as something he would love to work on in an interview with DualShockers.

It all depends on what Capcom wants him to work on, so it could even be a new Street Fighter game or a Resident Evil 3 remake since his team should be very well acquainted with the RE Engine by now after working with it on Devil May Cry 5.

Whatever the case may be, we do know that he is working on a new game for Capcom and judging by the quality of Devil May Cry 5, that’s something to get excited about.

What do you think the new game will be and have you played Devil May Cry 5 yet? Let us know in the comment section below.
