The latest DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO trailer dropped last night and came with familiar faces. Those of you who have followed the Saiyan and Namek Sagas will immediately recognize many of the fighters included in the video.
The Saiyan Saga kickstarted the Goku and Vegeta rivalry back in the day and the Namek Saga is best known for its showcase of Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin and Goku as the group faced off against Frieza. As a result, the new trailer includes all the characters who were part of these sagas.
In addition to the “good guys” the trailer also confirms that Frieza’s troops are part of the roster too. This includes Cui, Dodoria and Zorban. There’s also the remainder of the Ginyu Corps including Captain Ginyu, Guldo and Recoome. Nail is also joining the fight.
It wouldn’t be a Dragon Ball game without Frieza himself and he comes with all his forms including First Form, Second Form, Third Form, Fourth Form and Fourth Form (Full Power). Fans will remember this form being used against the Super Saiyan, Son Goku.
So far, it looks like DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is going to have quite a robust roster of characters. The game is set to launch on 11 October for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Pre-ordering the game grants you access to a character pack which includes Gogeta, Gogeta, Super Saiyan, Gogeta Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, Broly, Broly, Super Saiyan and super Saiyan Broly, Full Power.
Keep in mind that these characters are unlockable in the game through normal progression. However, pre-ordering will unlock them instantly. Bandai Namco also confirmed an unannounced character is included as a pre-order incentive. It has not been revealed yet.
