A new trailer for Fast X, the second-last entry in the long-running Fast and Furious action franchise, has arrived and it’s all about family, revenge and really dumb fun. Aquaman actor Jason Momoa will play the villain Dante Reyes in this sequel as Dom Toretto and his group faces the brunt of his revenge. Fast X will race into cinemas on 19 May 2023.
The latest and presumably last trailer for Fast X shows everything you’ve come to expect from a new Fast and Furious movie: explosions, cars, one-liners and Dom Toretto who seems to be racking up more villains than Batman at this point. Dante Reyes is on a war path to bring down Toretto and his crew, wrecking Vatican City in the process with a giant bomb ball. We also get a glimpse at Toretto racing down the side of a dam as he escapes an explosion, once again defying physics.

The official synopsis for Fast X reads:
“Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who’s fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything—and everyone—that Dom loves, forever.”
In case you’re wondering where the movie will take us around the globe, the synopsis also mentions:
“Dante’s plot will scatter Dom’s family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Portugal to Antarctica. New allies will be forged and old enemies will resurface. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his own 8-year-old son (Leo Abelo Perry, Black-ish) is the ultimate target of Dante’s vengeance.”
Fast X is part one of a two-part conclusion to the Fast and Furious saga. It will be directed by Clash of the Titans‘ Louis Leterrier and stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Brie Larson, Jason Momoa, Charlize Theron, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, John Cena, Jason Statham, Helen Mirren and Jordana Brewster – an absolutely stacked cast.
