Ghost Recon Breakpoint caught our attention when it was revealed earlier this year. Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten much information in regards to what the title will hold for fans of the Ghost Recon franchise. Ubisoft has now lifted the veil on their third-person, survival shooter, with a new trailer that gives us a lot more to look forward to.
Jon Bernthal has once again showcased superb voice acting as main antagonist, Cole. D. Walker. He is a main villain who stands by his own moral code. He may look heartless, but Jon Bernthal says he loves his fellow soldiers.

That being said, Ubisoft is giving us a better look at the Ghosts. Cole. D. Walker may be a Wolf, but even he respects the Ghosts and what they are capable of. In the trailer, Cole. D. Walker addresses his army and begins to showcase exactly what it means to be a “Wolf”.
The island of Auroa promises to be a challenge for our main protagonist, considering that their enemies are former Ghosts. Sadly, Ubisoft haven’t show us much in the way of gameplay.

Thankfully, Ubisoft’s Community Manager came on stage to announce the fact that Ghost Recon Breakpoint will launch with AI companions for those who want to play the game solo. The trailers seem to focus more on the story, than the actual showcasing of gameplay. This is a very different approach to how they marketed Ghost Recon Wildlands.

We know that Ghost Recon Breakpoint is going to be a live service game, but it’s nice to see that Ubisoft are working on making the game more approachable for those who prefer single-player games. Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be launching on the 4th of October, 2019, so we don’t have to wait too much longer to see what the game holds.
For those who want to play the game a bit earlier, Ubisoft will be holding a beta test on the 5th of September, 2019. You can sign up for the beta by clicking here.
