Avalanche has released quite a hefty patch for Hogwarts Legacy. The latest update is now live across PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC and comes with a number of fixes. Most notable is the fix to the game’s side quest where players need to save the mooncalf Biscuit. Players have struggled to complete this quest after Biscuit didn’t leave the cage after you open it up. The patch now addresses this and Biscuit will leave the cage.
There are also a handful of performance fixes in the update too. For example, the way the game streams assets while running around Hogwarts has been optimized so there will be less pop-in and load on your system. The update also fixes some ray-tracing issues which appeared after playing in the mode for a prolonged period of time.
