New Hogwarts Legacy Patch is Avada Kedavra-ing Those Bugs

Avalanche is rolling out an update for Hogwarts Legacy today which aims to fix some nasty trophy bugs plaguing the game at the moment. One particular trophy, which is the toughest one to get, doesn’t seem to be popping up for users and this patch should fix that problem. There are also some new performance improvements in the update for all platforms as well as online stability fixes.

Those of you who have completed Hogwarts Legacy and are aiming to get the Collector’s Edition trophy, which requires you to complete all Collections at 100%, will be happy to hear that the bug preventing the trophy from popping up has been killed in this new update.

Hogwarts Legacy community manager Chandler Wood says that this patch will not only fix the trophy not popping up for users who unlock it in the future but those who have already technically earned it will now get it. It should retroactively unlock when you load up your game after downloading the latest update.

Avalanche also released the official patch notes for the update and they are quite hefty. The patch includes fixes for multiple quests which contained bugs as well as some much-needed lighting fixes across the game. Often, players would enter Hogwarts and the sun would be shining indoors for some reason. This patch should fix that issue.

Check out the update below. Avalanche says the patch should be live for PC and Xbox players now with PS5 to follow later today.
