LG plans to release a range of new OLED TVs to the public this year as the company upgrades its current lineup to brighter, more capable displays. The new lineup includes the LG Signature OLED M, LG G4 OLED, LG C4 OLED and LG B4 OLED.
The entire new LG OLED lineup has a large focus on AI while also bumping up the brightness across the board. The entire lineup also now comes with 140Hz support for gaming, up from 120Hz. The G4, in particular also comes with the company’s new Micro Lens Array technology which delivers a significant jump in display brightness compared to OLED models without the tech.

LG has also included its new a8 processor in the M4 and G4 OLED models. The processor packs all the fancy new AI upscaling which promises “a 70% improvement in graphical performance and a 30% faster processing speed compared to its predecessor”. However, the mainstream C4 and B4 OLED models won’t include the new a8 chip.
The a8 chip also enables the M4 and G4 to include four high-speed HDMI 2.1 ports. Up to now, the majority of LG TVs only included two HDMI 2.1 ports – an issue with most TVs.
All driven by the discerning judgment of the AI itself, the company’s OLED TVs deliver a more clear and vibrant viewing experience. Moreover, the ingenious AI processor adeptly refines colors by analyzing frequently used shades that best convey the mood and emotional elements intended by filmmakers and content creators. Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro splits pictures into blocks and fine-tunes brightness and contrast by analyzing variations in brightness where light enters the scene, creating images that look more three-dimensional.
Each new LG OLED TV will come in a range of sizes. This includes a massive 97-inch and down to 55-inch.
