Minecraft Disney World DLC Park Magic Kingdom

New Minecraft Disney World DLC Lets You Explore The Park

Minecraft is getting a Walt Disney World DLC that lets players explore the iconic theme park and its various attractions, even offering meet and greets with familiar Disney and Pixar characters. The package arrives as part of Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration and can be acquired on the Minecraft Marketplace for less than $10.

The Walt Disney Magic Kingdom DLC gives players the chance to virtually explore a recreation of the theme park complete with attractions, rides and mascots. The map recreates many of the park’s most popular attractions, including Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and more. Players can even meet and greet up to 29 popular Disney and Pixar characters.

Adding even more content to the DLC pack, 25 different themed skins will be available that lets you dress up as your favourite Disney characters. Customization items like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse ears are also included.

While Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom isn’t a scale replica, it’s the closest you’ll get to experience all the attractions of the park through the blocky virtual space of Minecraft. It’s pretty cool to see several rides and attractions recreated using Minecraft‘s signature style, and it should be exciting for younger audiences who may still be limited from getting the full experience due to the global pandemic. There’s even a virtual recreation of the park’s iconic fireworks show, which looks charming in all its block-based glory.

If you’d like to get your hands on the Disney World Magic Kingdom DLC, you can purchase it from the Minecraft Marketplace (on whatever platform you play Minecraft on) for only 1340 Minecoins, which roughly equates to less than $10. Considering all that’s on offer here, it definitely seems like it’s worth the price of admission.
