The next trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds, the upcoming RPG from Capcom and sequel to 2018’s Monster Hunter World, is due in June. Capcom previously announced that the next look at the game would be in summer 2024. A reliable leaker has now revealed that the trailer will show up within the next ten days – it’s a safe best to assume that it will be at either tonight’s State of Play or Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest.
Leaker billbil-kun, who usually accurately leaks the PlayStation Plus lineup every month, has revealed that the next Monster Hunter Wilds trailer will appear within the next ten days, though they didn’t mention which event it will show up in. Given PlayStation’s history of marketing Capcom games, it’s likely that we’ll hear about it at tonight’s State of Play, though it may also slip into Summer Game Fest.
Monster Hunter Wilds was officially revealed at The Game Awards last year with a trailer that showcased a new chocobo-like animal companion and possibly an open world setting – a first for the Monster Hunter series. The franchise’s poster monster Rathalos also makes a brief appearance at the end of the trailer, becoming the first confirmed monster to appear in the game.
