Prsimatic Evolutions South Africa

New Pokemon TCG Prismatic Evolutions Products Launch in South Africa This Week

Following the release of the Pokémon Trading Card Game – Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box in January, new products are set to launch in South Africa tomorrow. Starting on 7 February, collectors will be able to pick up the new Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins and the Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box.

These two products are the latest in the staggered launch of Prismatic Evolutions. Unfortunately, they are also suffering from the same problem locally – virtually no stock. I have already been warned by local retailers in South Africa that these two products are incredibly rare with stock quantities in the single digits at some stores.

This means you’ll need to pre-order where available and at other stores, be there early tomorrow morning to buy one. Keep in mind that some retailers are limiting purchases of the Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins and the Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box to one per customer.

You can expect to pay anything from R680 – R729 for the Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box and R250 – R300 for the Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins.

Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins

The Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins include one of eight unique designs featuring an Eeveelution. You’re meant to try to collect all eight tins to form an image. Good luck with that considering you’ll likely only be buying one or two tins given the abysmal stock levels in South Africa.

Inside each tin, you’ll get two Prismatic Evolutions booster packs and a collector’s coin featuring one of eight designs.

Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box

The Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box includes four booster packs and a random foil promo card featuring a special logo. You can get any one of the nine Eeveelutions in these boxes, including Eevee ex, Vaporeon ex, Jolteon ex, Flareon ex, Espeon ex, Umbreon ex, Leafeon ex, Glaceon ex, or Sylveon ex. The box is also meant to be a collector’s item, with dividers to help store cards in.
