New PS4 Exclusives Trailer Shows Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II and More

Sony’s State of Play was a bit disappointing if you don’t own a PlayStation VR headset. Sure, there were cool things to look forward to, such as Iron Man VR and the No Man’s Sky Beyond update that turns the entire game into a VR experience. However, we were all hoping to see those big, blockbuster titles, from Ghost of Tsushima to The Last of Us Part II, Death Stranding and even Days Gone. That’s where the new PS4 exclusives trailer comes in, which Sony dropped on YouTube last night.

The new PS4 exclusives trailer showcases some footage from upcoming titles namely The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone. Then, big exclusives that have already been out for a while, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man, God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn also gets thrown into the mix. You can view the trailer that clocks in at under 2 minutes at the bottom of this article.

What is interesting is that this PS4 exclusives trailer doesn’t show Death Stranding at all. One would think a shot of Norman Reedus in the game would be perfect but it is completely absent from the lineup. Could this mean that Death Stranding might be a PS5 title, or already planned as a cross-gen title? We aren’t sure, however, it is also important to note that games from the Uncharted franchise didn’t feature in the trailer either.

Whatever the case may be, we won’t find out at E3 2019 since Sony won’t be attending gaming’s biggest expo this year. The question is, with such massive PS4 exclusives in the works and world-class quality titles already out in the wild, do they really have to?
