New PS5 Deep Earth Collection DualSense and Console Cover Pre-Order Details

A new range of DualSense Controllers and PS5 Console Covers are headed our way. Sony announced three new accessories across its new “Deep Earth Collection” and they are all themed around a metallic colourway.

You’ll be able to pick up the Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue and Sterling Silver accessories later this year. Each of these comes with a fancy DualSense Controller and PS5 console cover for either the disc model or Digital Edition.

Sony says the Deep Earth Collection has been designed around the materials found in the depths of the planet. The company then added a metallic finish to each colour to give it a touch of sophistication.

“Volcanic Red boasts a rich blazing red tone. Cobalt Blue, on the other hand, presents a deep shade of blue with intriguing hints of purple. Lastly, Sterling Silver showcases a classic aesthetic with a subtle blue undertone.” – Leo Cadoso

Sony will open pre-orders for the Deep Earth Collection on 4 October. The Volcanic Red and Cobalt Blue accessories will launch on 3 November followed by the Sterling Silver on 26 January 2024. You’ll be able to pre-order everything starting on 4 October regardless of the delayed launch for the Sterling Silver accessories.

We will keep you updated on the launch plans and local pricing for the range as we lead up to the pre-order dates next month. The official announcement says pre-orders and launch dates are aligned globally so we shouldn’t see any delay with these products. Unlike Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 console covers which are still MIA in South Africa.
