Capcom has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming CG animated movie, Resident Evil: Death Island. After promising the possibility of Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy finally appearing on-screen together, we finally have confirmation that the two protagonists will unite for the first time in the franchises history.
The new trailer for Resident Evil: Death Island gives us plenty of story details to digest. The setting appears to be Alcatraz, the prison island where new infected are originating from. Former Resident Evil protagonists like Leon, Chris Redfield, Rebecca Chambers and Claire Redfield all return but most importantly, we get a glimpse of Jill and Leon working together. This is a big deal because Jill and Leon have never actually met in previous games or movies despite being the most popular main characters in their respective titles.
