The upcoming game, which focusses on team racing, grants players the opportunity to earn in-game currency when they race, which lets them unlock prizes. Prizes include new customisation parts for your cars, performance mods, horns and various paint jobs to choose from. Players will have the option to find rare gold parts in the upcoming game.

The new Sonic show is a supercharged, two-part animation series, which ties into the upcoming game. The new show features some classic characters from the Sonic franchise, which include Sonic the Hedgehog himself, Amy, Tails, Big the Cat, and Shadow. The new Sonic show’s first part has been released, which is really super cute and fun. The short first part is a fun way for fans to get excited about the upcoming game, and to introduce the franchise along with the cute characters to those who aren’t familiar with the Sonic brand. You can check out the first part below, with the second part releasing late in April 2019.

Team Sonic Racing will speed onto all major platforms including PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 21 May 2019. Have a look at the new customisation trailer below
