New South African Game Studio From Boet Fighter Devs Opens Up in Johannesburg, Boet!

It’s always amazing to see our local video game creators making strides forward and that’s exactly what is happening right now, as a new South African game studio has opened up from local developer, Cali4ways Games. The developer is working on their first game, Boet Fighter, which looks pretty awesome and with it, the new South African game studio has opened its doors.

As per a Press Release, Cali4ways Games, local independent video game developers, have announced the grand opening of their “Real Life Permanent” studio, nestled in the media hub of Johannesburg, more specifically, “Fourways Adjacent Randburg”.

The CEO of Cali4ways Games “apparently” Louis Du Pisani, explained in a humours quote that:

That sounds pretty lekker if you ask me and when this awesome fighting game releases, I will definitely be klapping it hard, boet! A description of Boet Fighter, reads:

“Boet Fighter is a mega-schweet faaghting video game where Hard Eddy and his taaghtest charnas must moer all of Fourways in the face, as they faaght to reclaim his stolen binnet! It’s got creatine, vaalence and house beats, boet… and it’s coming soon!”

As an Afrikaans gamers, I can’t possibly love this type of game more and best of all, the progatonist’s voice is done by Gord Laws, a local radio personality and voice-over artist.
