Spider-Man: No Way Home already received a teaser trailer a few months back, showing how the end-credits events of Spider-Man: Far From Home has impacted Peter Parker’s life forever. Distraught, the web-slinger approaches Doctor Strange asking for a spell to reverse its effects. Unfortunately this goes very wrong, which backfires and unleashes the multiverse. Several villains from other universes, including Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, all stand in Peter’s way. A recent poster may have also confirmed Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Sandman.
Due to the ambitious nature of the multiverse and the appearance of several villains from past Spider-Man movie universes, fans are expecting former Spider-Men Maguire and Garfield to make an appearance in the next trailer, officially confirming their involvement in the film. Marvel has been quite hush-hush about the project so far, and perhaps the biggest surprises are yet to come.
In the meantime, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals have already released in case you want to watch something in the MCU while you wait.
Spider-Man: No Way Home releases on 17 December 2021 exclusively in cinemas.
