New Two Point Campus Video Shows off Awesome Customization Features

In a new Two Point Campus video, Two Point Studios has touched on the creative process behind building your very own university and the tools players will have available to create their very own world. Studio Director Garry Carr spoke about Two Point Hospital saying that the creative tools in the game weren’t as expansive as he hoped. He says that creating your own hospital becomes very much the same thing after a while but the team worked hard on expanding that freedom in the upcoming game.

Carr says that in Two Point Campus, players can really create the campus of their design and there’s a lot of freedom to build anything anywhere and in any style. The game isn’t limited to creating specific rooms in a four-wall environment which opens up new doors for freedom.

At the same time, Two Point Campus is set in the same world as Two Point Hospital so the game has a similar personality. However, Two Point Campus is also bringing a lot of quality of life changes to the table which are actually inspired by mods created by the community for the original game. Features like cut, copy and paste and room templates are available to use.

As for the tools at your disposal, Carr says that the team implemented the same creation tools the studio used to make the world into the game itself. So players have the same amount of freedom to place items, build paths, block off areas and much more. It also looks incredibly easy to do thanks to the intuitive tool design and level maker.

Players can create a simple building campus which includes walls and rooms or they can go all out and make an outside campus with linked areas, mazes and more. But if creativity isn’t your thing, Two Point has also created each scenario with its own layout so players can simply use the buildings available to start their campus instead of breaking them down and starting from scratch.

Check out the trailer below. Two Point Campus is launching on 9 August for PS4, PS5, Xbox, PC and Switch. The game was recently delayed from its original May release date.
