The team behind the upcoming Uncharted movie shared some brand-new set images to celebrate the new year. The new images give us a closer look at a location, a strange cross-like treasure, Tom Holland’s hand, and an ancient map.

The images don’t give us much context to the Uncharted movie’s plot. However, for those who have played the video games, you will know that the series is all about the maps, finding the treasures on these maps and exploring the locations which these treasures unclock. These four images explain the basics of an Uncharted experience perfectly and we can’t wait to see how the movie adapts the video game.

The upcoming Uncharted movie follows young Nathan Drake in his 20’s. The movie stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Sully. The movie is set to debut on 21 July 2021 if all goes to plan. This, is after multiple delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Originally, PlayStation planned on releasing the film in December 2020 but that was pushed into the new year due to the pandemic.
