Nexon Shows Off Incredible Footage For Seven New Games

Nexon went all out earlier today with a massive showcase of some rather incredible-looking games. The publisher gave fans new footage for games including Project Magnus, Project Overkill and more.

A lot of these games look quite impressive. However, keep in mind that these trailers are made up of both in-game footage and scripted cinematics.

Sony Announces 7 New Indie Games Headed to PS4 and PS5

First off we have Project Magnum. This new looter shooter is coming to consoles and PC and seems to follow the same gameplay elements as Outriders. Remember that game that died within a month of launch? It also focuses on fast-paced gunplay and combat. The trailer is a combination of in-game cutscenes and some gameplay. Looks good though.

Next, we have Project Overkill. This 3D action RPG is based on the popular Dungeon & Fighter series. It is expected to release sometime in the future. However, specific platforms haven’t been announced yet.

KartRider: Drift is another upcoming game from Nexon. Not much is known about the racer yet but it is slated to release on PC and consoles before the end of 2021. Looks quite cute and merges Mario Kart with a sort of ModNation Racer vibe.

Project ER is an upcoming MMORPG that is quite an ambitious undertaking. The game is set in a middle-age world and players can own a base and improve it as they progress. However, the aim of the game is to participate in massive siege warfare. Best of all, everyone plays on one server so the game supports massive wars between all countries. No platforms are confirmed yet.

Here we have a game called Project HP. This is a sort of For Honor clone where players participate in PvP “Swordpunk” combat. Think Chivalry meets For Honor. The game is currently in pre-alpha testing.

Mobile gamers can look forward to Tales Weaver M. The mobile successor to the online game Tales Weaver. It features an open-world design, extremely flashy and over the top combat and of course, mobile microtransactions.

Lastly, we have Project SF2. This turn-based tactical strategy RPG is based on an original story. However, there is no gameplay to look at in the trailer so we don’t know what the actual game looks like.

If you want to stay up to date with the development of these games, make sure you head over to the Nexon YouTube channel and subscribe.
