Next Diablo 4 Livestream Will Detail Cosmetics and Battle Pass

Blizzard Entertainment is set to host another Diablo 4 livestream next week Wednesday that will offer players more details on the game’s optional Battle Pass, cosmetics and seasonal content. This all forms part of the game’s post-launch experience once players clear the main story.

The new presentation for Diablo 4 will kick off on 10 May at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST or 8pm CAT and promises a closer look at the game’s Battle Pass, cosmetics and seasons. Blizzard stated that the Battle Pass will be optional so players will likely not be required to purchase them if they want to enjoy all the seasonal content – though the passes may contain bonus items that can’t be earned in-game.

Diablo franchise general manager Rod Fergusson, associate game director Joseph Piepiora, product management director Kegan Clark and associate director of community Adam Fletcher will present the next Diablo 4 livestream.

Piepiora previously confirmed that Diablo 4 wasn’t meant to be played forever as there’s a clear stopping point to the endgame grind. This will probably take the form of a “pinnacle boss encounter” once players reach level 100, the highest level that they’ll be able to obtain in the endgame.

In related news, Blizzard recently revealed the full PC system requirements for Diablo 4 at launch and it will require a decent rig to hit its High and Ultra settings. All five classes available upon release have also received full trailers showing off the gameplay for Barbarian, Necromancer, Druid, Sorcerer and Rogue.

Blizzard is set to host another Diablo 4 open beta weekend called a Server Slam taking place from 12-14 May. The point of this beta is to stress test the servers even further and ensure a smooth launch for the game when it arrives in early June.

Diablo 4 launches on 6 June 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
