In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past several months, you would know that Epic Games gives away a free game ever two weeks for an entire year. Right now, you can pick up the awesome City of Brass, a roguelike FPS title from senior Bioshock developers. The next free game from Epic doesn’t necessarily look as great as City of Brass, but it is still a nice freebie for PC gamers to look forward to.

The next free game that you can pick up from the Epic Games Store starting from 6 to 13 June 2019 is Kingdom: New Lands so if you love free stuff with no strings attached, you can mark those calendars and head to the game’s Epic Store page to grab it later this week.
So what is Kingdom: New Lands? Well, it is a minimalistic micro strategy game that released in October 2015 and it looks extremely challenging as you try to see how long you can survive. The player will need to figure everything out for themselves as they travel the lands as a monarch struggling to build their kingdom from nothing. The game received some great reviews from critics and currently sits at 74% on Metacritic, while Steam user reviews are “Very Positive”.
Kingdom: New Lands definitely sounds like something I would give a try and if you do need more convincing to pick up a free game, then you can check out the game’s description and trailer below.
