Pokemon Presents 27 February

Next Pokemon Presents Announced for 27 February

The next Pokemon Presents event has been confirmed by Nintendo to take place on 27 February. These annual shows usually provide updates on the Pokemon series including the video games and expanded media. The Pokemon Company didn’t share any specific details about what fans can expect at the presentation but look forward to seeing some updates on the latest Pokemon games including Scarlet and Violet.

According to the Pokemon Company, February 2023’s Pokemon Presents will run for approximately 20 minutes and feature “exciting Pokemon news in celebration of Pokemon Day 2023.” Fans look forward to these events every year as they provide updates on not only the latest games but also other Pokemon projects currently in development. 27 February also happens to be Pokemon Day so hopefully we’ll get some great news and surprises.

Rumours of a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game surfaced recently which is reportedly being handled by developer Spike Chunsoft again. It’s possible that we might see this rumoured title officially announced during the upcoming presentation, though we still recommend taking that with a pinch of salt.

August 2022’s Pokemon Presents featured a number of new details for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet while earlier presentations announced Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Unite, among others. We also tend to get a peak at merchandise, plans for expanded media beyond the gaming series and other cool Pokemon-related information.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet released in late 2022 to generally favourable reviews but criticism was aimed at the game’s poor performance and myriad of technical issues on Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released earlier last year and received universally positive reviews for its deviations from the Pokemon formula and pushing the series forward.

Tune into the next Pokemon Presents happening on 27 February at 6am PST or 4pm CAT for the latest information on everything Pokemon.
