Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds Gets Official Release Date

Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is finally releasing by the end of May. The mobile game which entered pre-registration a few weeks back will now release on 25 May for iOS and Android. Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds released back in 2021 for Asian markets and this new release will mark a western launch for the game.

Ni No: Kuni: Cross Worlds is a fully-fledged mobile RPG where players can explore a vast open world, take on quests and meet all sorts of cute and deadly creatures. The game is built on Unreal Engine 4 and thanks to the power of the engine, Netmarble has been able to bring the world to life on mobile devices.

There are four playable classes in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds. Players can choose from the Swordsman, Witch, Engineer, Destroyer and Rogue. Each class boasts its own unique skills and abilities but like past console games, this mobile version also relies on collecting Familiars to level up and get stronger in the game.

Players will be able to explore the world, fight Familiars and also capture them to store on their very own farm. Here, you can customize your own living quarters. You can decorate it, harvest ingredients and cook meals for your Familiars.

The aim of Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is to help rebuild your kingdom by completing quests and taking on the ever-changing live-service events that will release in the game.

Sadly, Netmarble hasn’t been very accommodating when it comes to the actual gameplay showcase for the game. They have been releasing short trailers that don’t show much. But thanks to the game’s Asia release, you can watch some of that gameplay instead. Here’s a nice video below showing off some actually interactive gameplay. Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds releases on 25 May for iOS and Android. The game is also playable on M1 Mac hardware.
