On Tuesday we reported that popular Fortnite streamer Faze Jarvis was permanently banned by Epic Games after publishing videos of him using cheat aimbot software in-game. Faze released a video with an apology where is was quite upset and claims he never knew it would happen and did not even think that breaking the rules would result in his Fortnite ban. It seems, Ninja also thinks he is above the law stating that “content creators” like Faze, and himself, should not be banned for cheating.

Ninja shared his thoughts on Mixer where the streamer tuned in saying there should be two sets of rules: “one rule for us, one rule for them”
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#FFFB00″ class=”” size=”19″]There’s a difference between a content creator who has millions of subscribers, who then gets banned from what makes him money, and some kid who is just a piece of **** who has zero followers, zero money from gaming and hacks. You ban that kid and nothing happens to him. Nothing happens. Oh no! He can’t cheat any more. You ban Faze Jarvis – it’s different.” [/perfectpullquote]
Ninja was playing during the stream with friends who argued with him about his opinion on the matter. Many of them stating that content creators have a certain amount of influence and should set an example. If they cheat, their viewers will follow suit. Ninja kept defending Jarvis saying;
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#0094FF” class=”” size=”19″]A content creator cheating, whose entire life is about the game he’s playing and then some random who has no YouTube channel, no Twitter account – he doesn’t even care, he just cheats, he has to hack – you ban one, you ruin his life. You ban the other, he makes another account and keeps cheating.[/perfectpullquote]
Ninja then compared the ban to the nasty Logan Paul controversy where the streamer posted a video of a hanged corpse in Japan and was not banned. Overall he just thinks content creators should be treated differently.

What do you think? Use a Fortnite cheat and get banned? Or should content creators be able to use cheats and not be banned by Epic Games?
