Nintendo has announced a very cool Animal Crossing: New Horizons – themed Nintendo Switch console and it could be one of the best-limited edition consoles the company have made in a long time. The console will go on sale on 13 March 2020 a week before Animal Crossing: New Horizon launches on the Nintendo Switch.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed Switch comes with a new refreshing colour palette and some cute themed art across the device. The two Joy-Cons are sky blue and mint green but the underneath is a cream shade that matches the wrist accessories. The back of the consoles features a light etched design with images of buildings from the game.

The New Horizons-themed Switch is also a light cream shade with three members fo Nook clan sitting on an island on the bottom right-hand side. The entire Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed Switch console’s design is based on the game’s setting that sees players vacationing on an island as they set up their dream vacation home and live through their daily lives. Those of you who know the series will be excited to dive into the experience as we try to manage the addictive and timed gameplay while creating the best island one could dream of.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons releases on 20 March 2020. We don’t have confirmation yet if this Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed Switch will release in South Africa or the pricing but we will update you as soon as we hear more.
