Nintendo recently held a new Nintendo Direct event that delivered plenty of new reveals for games coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year and beyond. Mario fans got the most delightful announcements during the showcase which unveiled the new Super Mario RPG, a standalone game where you play as Princess Peach as well as new 2D side-scroller titled Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which is scheduled to release soon. Here are all the announcements and trailers from the Nintendo Direct of June 2023.
From Pikmin 4 and the long-awaited Detective Pikachu Returns to a surprise appearance by the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1, as well as a stunning remake of Star Ocean: The Second Story R, this Direct was not short on some exciting reveals and premieres. However, show closed with a strong showing of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which Nintendo describes as, “Surprise and wonder await at every corner in the next evolution of 2D side-scrolling Mario fun!”
