Nintendo Switch Lite South African Pricing Revealed – Pre-Orders Now Live

Those of you who are looking for a new Nintendo device and want to opt-in for the newer and dock-less model will have to fork out some cash for it. Nintendo Distributor South Africa revealed Nintendo Switch Lite South African pricing of R3,999.

R3,999 will get you a new Nintendo Switch Lite in South Africa which is not too bad considering the other model, with detachable Joy-Cons and the dock capabilities retail for R5,999.

The Switch Lite will come in grey, turquoise, and yellow when it launches in South Africa on 20 September 2019 all retailing for R3,999.

Pre-orders for the console are now live at various retailers in South Africa including the Nintendo Online Store. Nintendo also has a Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield Limited Edition Lite console planned for the game’s November release but no local availability and pricing has been confirmed yet.

The Switch Lite is releasing as the “lighter” Switch console featuring a smaller look and display with up to seven hours of battery life. We will be reviewing the device closer to the local launch and will share out thoughts on it.

It also comes in three colours which are; yellow, grey and turquoise.
