NVIDIA has killed off the dated GeForce Experience app. The app has been a staple for gamers for years now as it was the best way to tweak your NVIDIA GPU, update drivers, redeem promotional codes and record and share gameplay. The improved NVIDIA App is now taking its place.
The NVIDIA App has been in beta for a while now as the brand gave users the ability to test out its streamlined features. Last night, the company then launched the official version version to the public. If anything, the app is a lot easier to use. I also like that you don’t need an account to use it. Unless, of course, you want to.
Featuring a unified GPU control center, NVIDIA app allows fine-tuning of game, program, and driver settings from a single place, while introducing a redesigned in-game overlay for convenient access to powerful gameplay recording tools, performance monitoring overlays, and game enhancing filters, including innovative new AI-powered filters for RTX users. The NVIDIA app incorporates many of the top features from GeForce Experience and RTX Experience, includes an optional login to redeem bundles and rewards, and introduces new RTX capabilities to elevate your gaming and creative experiences.
You’ll find everything you need on the app. The ability to tweak your games, optmise them for certain graphics modes, record clips and more. The NVIDIA app also helps enhance games that don’t support HDR and other visual features. RTX Dynamic Vibrance enhanced clarity and saturation and RTX HDR simulates HDR across games that don’t have HDR support or perhaps you think the implementation isn’t up to scratch.
Users can also take advantage of the per-game optimization tools that lets you tweak games and applications across a wide selection of settings. Auto applies NVIDIA’s recommended tweaks while manual is where you can apply your own on a driver-level.
NVIDIA has detailed the entire app over on the launch page. It is everything you need to know about the NVIDIA App ahead of downloading. Speaking of which, you can download it right from the landing page here.
