NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Benchmarks Leaked

The performance scores for the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER graphics cards have leaked showing it is almost identical to the Titan V.

NVIDIA’s new RTX 2080 SUPER is planned to start rolling out next week in the US at the price point of $699 and offer better performance over the non-SUPER chips.

The NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER and 2060 SUPER cards have been out since early July in the States and also offer better performance over their counterparts but 2080 is the one we have been waiting for.

According to the Final Fantasy XV Windows Benchmark Tool, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER is 7.5% faster than the standard RTX 2080 which puts it ahead of the Titan XP and close to the Titan V. These results are impressive considering the Titan V is a $3000 card.

NVIDIA’s RTX 2080 SUPER is using the TU104-450 GPU with 3072 CUDA cores and 8GB of DDR6 memory. All this is clocked at 15.5Gbps that can be boosted to close to 500Gbps of total bandwidth. The core clocks range between 1650 MHz (base) and up to 1815 MHz boosted.

Expected much more from these RTX SUPER cards in the coming months as they begin to roll out from tomorrow in the US. The cards are expected to land in SA in August and expect to pay anything from R15k up for them.

You can of course, wait for the standard RTX cards to drop in price which they will as the SUPER cards release.
