Oblivion Remastered Leaks Everything We Know So Far

Oblivion Remastered Reveal – When and Where to Watch Today

In what might be the gaming industry’s worst kept secret at this point, the rumours and leaks for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered are real indeed. Bethesda recently confirmed the news on social media, pointing eager fans to a reveal set to take place later today. Here’s when and where you can watch the announcement (and hopefully it comes with a shadow drop surprise, like many rumours already suggested).

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will officially be announced today at 17:00 SAST or 11:00 EST. As for where you can watch it, Bethesda provided links to both its Twitch and YouTube channels, so keep your eye on them around the announcement’s time. We’ll also embedded the countdown video below for convenience.

Despite the plethora of rumours and leaks that took place over the last week, including a handful of images accidentally posted early on developer Virtuos’ website, some details surrounding the highly anticipated remaster are still a bit murky. We know that the visuals and lightning will receive the biggest improvements but it’s unclear how much the gameplay will be tweaked or tightened up. A leak from last week went over some potential gameplay improvements but take it with a grain of salt for now.

From what we understand, Oblivion Remastered is primarily being developed by Virtuos, a support company that worked on games like Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, Horizon Forbidden West – Complete Edition, Hogwarts Legacy and Outriders, among others. It’s not known to what extent original developer Bethesda Game Studios is involved in the project, though it might already have its hands full with The Elder Scrolls 6.

in the meantime, The Elder Scrolls fans can expect a blast from the past later today when Oblivion Remastered is finally unveiled. If the leaks are accurate, we might already be able to play it shortly afterwards as well.
