Arguably one of, if not the greatest Dota 2 esports organizations, OG, could be entering the CS: GO esports scene according to reports. OG made esports history in August this year when they became the first-ever back-to-back TI champions against all possible odds. Now, the organization is reportedly setting their sights on CS: GO esports.

According to a report by 1pv.fr, there’s even a whole squad rumoured to fill the OG CS: GO lineup, led by Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen who is currently on the bench for ENCE. This OG CS: GO lineup is born out of the long-rumoured collaboration between Aleksib and Nathan “NBK-“ Schmitt (from Vitality) and they will be joined by one of the hottest young players out there right now, 18-year-old AWPer Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen.
If this rumour is true, the squad will be announced soon and look to shake up the CS: GO esports scene. The OG CS: GO roster could look like this:
- Nathan “NBK-“ Schmitt
- Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen
- Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså
- Issa “ISSAA” Murad
- Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen
At the time of writing, this is still just a rumour which suggests the squad will be officially announced soon and they will be participating in the ESL Pro Tour as well as the BLAST PREMIER. This isn’t a first for CS: GO esports either as another big Dota 2 organization, Evil Geniuses, picked up a squad last month.
As always, please remember to take rumours such as this one with a grain of salt until such time as the OG CS: GO squad has officially been revealed.
