2K and Firaxis Games have released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The latest video isn’t a history lesson on a character like yesterday’s excellent Spider-Man video. Instead, this one is a quick look at the one and only Doctor Strange including his fighting style and abilities in the game.

The video isn’t the longest and honestly, I was hoping for a deep dive similar to the previous Captain America showcase but at least it is something for now.

In the gameplay clip, we get a closer look at Doctor Strange and his arcane abilities. Strange is seen wielding all sorts of spells and attacks. One sees him summon a ghostly skull that shoots a beam of laser magic at an enemy. The other sees him conjure up a giant tornado and sends it off flying into an enemy. There’s also an ability that seemingly buffs Doctor Strange by using three crystals which are absorbed into him.

Firaxis Games says that the studio will share a more comprehensive Doctor Strange character deep dive in the next few days so make sure you stick around. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is set to launch on 7 October 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC.
