If you’ve been following our Fantasy Challenge roster picks, especially the roster for today, you will be happier than SirActionSlacks when he learned that Ogre Magi won the Arcana Vote. For our Day 4 picks, we went with a full Team Liquid lineup and since Liquid managed to beat Royal Never Give Up, you will get the maximum raw points for the day, no matter what happens. Now, we have a tough decision to make for Day 5 of The International 2019 Main Event.

First up, there are a total of six teams that will play matches on Day 5 (24 August) of The International 2019, but there are only two that you should focus on, Team Secret and Vici Gaming. This is because one of these two teams will play two matches, while the rest will play one match only. For maximum points for your TI9 Day 5 Fantasy roster picks, you will need to go all-in on one of these teams, or alternatively, pick players from both these teams to play it safe.
The DPC leaders, Team Secret, have been looking a bit wonky while Vici Gaming has looked better during The International 2019 so far. Team Secret managed beat Infamous, the dark horses of the tournament, while Vici’s only loss in the Main Event came against PSG.LGD, but the games were quite close. The last big match Vici Gaming and Secret faced off against each other (in Dreamleague S11), Vici Gaming came out on top, so that is something to consider.
For my TI9 Day 5 Fantasy roster picks, I therefore went for three players from Vici Gaming and two from Team Secret, as I think Vici Does have the slight edge.
If you are confident in which team will win between VG and Secret and want maximum raw points for the day, then you should go with a full squad for the team you think will win. For me, it will be too close to call with confidence.
