In the third Outriders stream, People Can Fly showcased the fourth and final class called The Technomancer. This gadget-based class is able to call in missile strikes, freeze enemies with ice fists and even summon miniguns in both hands to mow down enemies. Outriders Technomancer class is able to set itself apart from the others such as the Pyromancer, Devastator and Trickster. In addition to the new class, People Can Fly also touched on some of the new co-op gameplay.
The new three-player gameplay revealed an Onslaught mission where players had to capture the insurgent bunker. The gameplay trailer shows just how the combat changes when you take a range of playable characters and put them together on the field. The Technomaner spawned missile turrets and placed them on the ground while the Pyromancer burned enemies with devastating fire attacks. The Devastator then shot a spike pilon out of the ground which impaled the enemies.
Keep in mind that each class includes a wide range of skills that can change the gameplay even more. What you see in the trailer is just a small taste of each class’ skill tree. Take a look at the 8-minute gameplay demo below.
