Outriders Will Launch on Xbox Game Pass on 1 April 2021

After teasing the possible Outriders Xbox Game Pass launch during the weekend, Microsoft confirmed that the upcoming looter-shooter will indeed be coming to the service on 1 April 2021.

For those hoping to score the game for free on PC, you’re out of luck. Outriders won’t be launching on the PC version of Xbox Game Pass, only on Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One. It will also be available on PS4, PS5, and Stadia on the same day.

This is a great move from Square Enix and Xbox. It means that the game, which has a heavy focus on co-op multiplayer, can be enjoyed by Xbox owners regardless of them purchasing the full game or not. Of course, if you don’t subscribe to Xbox Game Pass then you won’t get the opportunity to pick up Outriders for free.

Keep in mind that Outriders does boast cross-play support so players can join their friends no matter what platform they play on. The game is set to launch on 1 April 2021 across all platforms.

For those who have not tried it out yet, there is a demo available that gives you a taste of things to come. The demo is not timed nor is it going offline so users can give it a go even after the game launched next month. You can find out more here.

Check out the latest trailer of Outriders down below. In addition, make sure you keep an eye out for the Square Enix Presents stream tomorrow where the publisher will share new news regarding the shooter.
