People Can Fly has announced the first paid expansion for Outriders. The game, which originally launched in April last year and suffered a horrendous launch due to bugs and lost progression, is set to get a huge chunk of content in June. Outriders Worldslayer will release on 30 June and bring with it a level cap increase to 30, new story content, gear and more.
Outriders Worldslayer takes place right after the events of the main game. The Anomaly has further evolved and is now generating powerful blizzards across the planet. Ereshkigal, a leader of the Altered is the antagonist this time around as she sets forth with his plans to control the humans across the lands.

People Can Fly claims that Outriders Worldslayer packs over 100 new legendary items, new weapon mods and a robust roster of enemies and bosses to fight along the way.
Each class in Outriders Worldslayer will get two additional subclass branches added to their existing class. Players can now take advantage of these branches to further enhance their playstyle.
The expansion also benefits from the Ascension content which was released for free in 2021 and adds Anomaly stats with 200 points to unlock. There’s also a new Apocalypse difficulty that replaces the Challenge Tiers. This content has a level 40 cap which means it is the most challenging in the game.
After completing the story content, players can jump into the endgame mode for Outriders Worldslayer called The Trial of Tarya Gratar. However, details on this content have yet to be announced. People Can Fly claim it is different from anything the studio has done in the past.
Outriders Worldslayer is also releasing in the enhanced edition. This edition includes the base game as well as the New Horizon content and Worldslayer. However, players who already own the game can upgrade to Worldslayer at launch too. You can also take your existing characters over to Worldslayer or boost new characters to level 30 right at the start. Pricing has yet to be announced for the enhanced edition and Worldslayer content.
Outriders Worldslayer will release June 30, 2022 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (Steam, Epic, Windows Store & NVIDIA GeForce NOW) and Stadia! Take your existing Outriders to new levels of power as you journey deeper into Enoch, or use the character boost to create a new level 30 Outrider geared up and ready to face off against the powerful Altered – Ereshkigal.
With new horrors to challenge you and new weapons, mods and gear to discover, you’ll be further developing your build through the new PAX class trees, the long-term progression Ascension System and the game changing third mod slots found only on Apocalypse Gear.

Outriders is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet.
