Overwatch 2 New Hero Echo Leaked in Promotional Image

More and more leaks are starting to appear ahead of BlizzCon 2019 where Blizzard Entertainment is expected to make at least four big announcements. There has been a lot of rumours for Overwatch 2 thanks to leaked demo documentation and we’ve even seen leaks about Diablo 4 as well as the next World of Warcraft expansion, Shadowlands. Alongside the Shadowlands leak, the new hero Echo, rumoured to be released with Overwatch 2, has been shown.

Just like the Shadowlands leak, the image of the new Overwatch 2 hero, Echo, was reportedly spotted from the Blink Shopping Blizzard Gear Store which went live for BlizzCon 2019. The 32nd hero for Overwatch has been long-rumoured and has appeared in the game’s lore and was revealed as a comic character at last year’s BlizzCon.

You can check out the image of Echo alongside other familiar faces including Reinhardt, Mei, Genji, Tracer, Mercy, Brigitte and Winston below. This was first picked up on the MMO-Champion forums.

You can spot Echo for Overwatch 2 to just above Tracer’s head.

Keep in mind that as always, you should take information like this with a grain of salt until such time as Blizzard Entertainment officially reveals Overwatch 2 and the new hero Echo to the world, which shouldn’t be too long as BlizzCon 2019 kicks off later this week, on 1 November 2019. It is important to note that the leaked documentation we reported on earlier this week hinted that “at least one new hero” would be shown, so Echo might not be the only new hero coming with Overwatch 2.
