Overwatch might not be in the league of Battlefield V or Black Ops 4, but it still delivers an incredibly fun experience for young and old. If you’ve not yet joined the Watch, then you should grab a few friends and join in the fun next week as Overwatch goes free.

The free trial kicks off on Tuesday, 20 November and runs until Monday, 26 November for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You’ll be able to experience everything Overwatch has to offer; 29 Heroes including the newly released gunslinger Ashe, 19 maps, and all the modes, including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade.

If you decide to purchase Overwatch after the trial then all your progress will carry over as long as you use the same account you played on. During the trial you can unlock loot crates (or purchase), level up, and customize your Hero.

If you’re going to participate in the event, then you can start your pre-load right away if you’re a console player. PC players can only start the download on November 20.

If bling is your thing, then you can earn limited-time loot during the trial by linking your Blizzard and Twitch accounts and watching some Overwatch livestreams. The rewards are these cute Ashe-themed sprays.

Keep in mind that you need a PlayStation Plus, Xbox Live, or account to play Overwatch. You won’t need a special code, you can download the game directly from the above links.

South African players use the European servers, and the free trial opens on 20 November at 19:00 GMT, which makes it 21:00 South African time.

GLITCHED was created by taking everything we love and putting into one place. It contains a little something for everyone be it your favourite comic book, what to binge on Netflix this weekend, or your annual first-person shooter. The idea that one can love all the cool things is not hard to comprehend, you just need to find a place for it. That place is GLITCHED..
