It has been a while since Nintendo released a game in the Paper Mario series and the new Origami King will fix that. Paper Mario: The Origami King is coming to Nintendo Switch on 17 July 2020 and it looks as charming as ever. In addition, it will take players across a brand new adventure as they meet new characters and fight a new enemy.

Paper Mario: The Origami King pits Mario against a new folding enemy known as King Olly. He’s been going around folding things up including Princess Peach and it is up to Mario to save the day.

Players will guide the famous plumber through a paper-crafted world alongside his new companion, Olivia. Players will come into contact with new and familiar faces and enemies from the Mario universe. The game will take some twists and turns as Mario gets help from some unlikely characters along the way including Bowser.
Paper Mario: The Origami King will mix up the gameplay with new folding abilities that Mario can make use of. In addition, the world and puzzles have also been crafted around this art style. It promises to deliver a unique approach to the series. According to the trailer, the game will take the series back to its roots and put an emphasis on exploration, combat and the great RPG mechanics. In addition, it will bring back all the charm.
