Pokemon fans have had it with Ed Sheeran’s “Celestial” song in the latest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet game. The first mod to come out of the community now blocks the song completely from the game. For those who don’t know, Ed Sheeran’s Celestial song, for some reason, was added to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The song plays during the game’s end credits. While users can easily mute the game when it starts, fans hate it so much that they have resorted to modding it out of the ROM completely.
The mod called “Remove Sheeran” is the first actual mod for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Of course, this mod is restricted to the hacked Nintendo Switch consoles so don’t think about installing it on your official device. The mod completely removes Sheeran’s Celestial song from the end credits and replaces it with a song from the late Wada Koji.
Sadly, those of you without a modded Switch will have to resort to muting the console when the end credits play – granted you don’t like Ed Sheeran or the Celestial song.
The mod is also quite popular on the modding scene with thousands of downloads since it was uploaded on 18 November. Keep in mind that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was only released on 18 November so people were already working on this mod with the leaked games.

If you don’t have a Switch and want to know what the big fuss is about, I have linked the Ed Sheeran song down below. Unfortunately, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet join other games with horrible songs added to them in recent months. Sonic Frontiers also has its own “Undefeatable” song which is just painful.
