Yesterday, Atlus accidentally uploaded trailers for the Persona 3 remake (titled Persona 3 Reload) and a new title called Persona 5 Tactica to the company’s Instagram account before swiftly removing them. However, fans were able to grab the screenshots of the account before they were taken down, revealing new information about these titles that were presumably set to be announced at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase.
Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica will seemingly be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC and day one on Xbox Game Pass. No PlayStation platforms were mentioned in the trailers, meaning these titles are either Xbox exclusives or were intended to be announced at the Xbox Games Showcase (and are still coming to PS4 and PS5). Someone at Atlus might’ve posted the trailers three days ahead of the show but now the cat’s out of the bag.

Persona 5 Tactica appears to be a SRPG or tactics game set in the Persona 5 universe, listed with a release date of 17 November 2023. Persona 3 Reload, which seems like a full remake of the original Persona 3, is scheduled to release in early 2024.
It might’ve been a pretty big but expected announcement at the Xbox Games Showcase but now that the information is out in the wild, it’s unclear if Atlus will simply double down on the accident by revealing the games ahead of schedule or wait until Sunday. Either way, we finally have confirmation that these games exist after numerous rumours and reports surfaced online over the past few weeks.
On the other hand, Persona 6 has yet to be announced and it’s unlikely that it will appear at the Xbox Games Showcase at this rate. Fans speculate that the next mainline entry might be announced later in the year, possibly at Gamescom or Tokyo Game Show.
Persona 3 Reload launches in early 2024 while Persona 5 Tactica releases on 17 November 2023.
