Persona 5 Royal on Xbox and PC Includes 45 DLC Items for Free – Report

Earlier this month, Microsoft revealed that Persona 5 Royal would finally be coming to Xbox and PC including releasing on Game Pass. According to a new report, though, players can expect to receive 45 DLC items for free when it comes to Xbox consoles and PC later this year.

As reported by Person Channel, Persona 5 Royal‘s arrival on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC this October will include 45 DLC items for free, which were all previously purchasable individually. These include numerous alternative costumes from previous Persona games, additional background music and a brand new Persona, among many others.

When it was announced, Atlus confirmed that the Xbox and PC versions of Persona 5 Royal would include DLC in the base game, but didn’t mention if we would be receiving additional paid DLC for free, which this report suggests is the case. Atlus stated:

“Persona 5 Royal: Forced to transfer to a high school in Tokyo, the protagonist has a strange dream. ‘You truly are a prisoner of fate. In the near future, ruin awaits you.’ With the goal of ‘rehabilitation’ looming overhead, he must save others from distorted desires by donning the mask of a Phantom Thief.

Persona 5 Royal makes its epic return with previously released DLC included in the base game!”

It’s unclear whether these items will also be available for free with the PlayStation 5 version which also launches in October, though that might be the case too. As with all reports, tread lightly on these rumours until we get official confirmation from Atlus.

Xbox announced that Persona 5 Royal will finally launch on 21 October 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC (as well as PS5). It will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass. Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden were also announced, but those are only scheduled to release in 2023.
