Planet of Lana has a release date. The side-scrolling cinematic puzzle adventure game created by Wushfully and published by Thunderful will release on 23 May for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game will also release day one on Game Pass.
Planet of Lana is a highly anticipated indie game that sees Lana and her companion Mui venture across a strange alien planet in order to save Lana’s sister. Along the way, the two will encounter strange aliens, machines and a mysterious substance that often ties the puzzles together.

The game has been developed with companion puzzles in mind. Lana and Mui often need to work with each other’s strengths and weaknesses in order to solve puzzles and overcome environmental obstacles. Mui can cross certain areas Lana can’t and Lana can often interact with objects Mui can’t.
Planet of Lana is also backed by a wonderful soundtrack. It has been composed by Takeshi Furukawa. Furukawa san composed the music for The Last Guardian and is a BAFTA-nominated composer.
Planet of Lana was originally announced back in 2021 during the Summer Game Fest. It was since delayed to 2023 after its original 2022 release window. Check out the trailer below.
